Opportunities for Graduate Students
Are you interested in conducting research in the lab? I am open to different projects, and you can check the Publications pages to get more information about current and past projects. Please, send me a CV along with your research interests by email for more details.
Tip for a successful first contact with a potential supervisor:
I strongly recommend that you make the best effort to write a personalized email (not that email which you plan to send to all my colleagues in the department....we do talk with each others, and it gives a very bad impression if we realize that we all received the same email from you!). Think about your own research interests, and how well they fit the work currently done in our lab.

Opportunities for Undergraduate Students
I supervise a number of undergraduate research projects at McGill throughout the year. Contact me if you are interested in completing your honors research or independent studies in the lab.
Do you qualify for the McGill work study program? Eligibility Criteria
I always have several students working in the lab on research projects, mostly in the Fall and Winter semesters.

Volunteering is also another way of getting involved in a research lab and gaining some lab or field work experience. We conduct every summer small mammal trapping at the Gault Nature Reserve (Mont Saint-Hilaire) and at many other places in Quebec. Contact me in the Spring, before field work starts. You can also get involved in current work done in the lab all year round: come and see us!
Current and Past Volunteers: Aaron Bosko, Daniel Monaco, Kirsten Crandall, Ravneet Rai, Dahn Hahm, Taylor Holroyd, Stephani Arulthas, Xiaolei Liu, Yeoji Kim, Yongsin Kim, Jorge Gaitan Camacho, Mira Kelada, Diana Ickx, Kanako Hasegawa, Anthony Howell, Claire Renwick, Elaine Radman, Meriah Schultz, Terri Kafyeke, Justine Alexander, Lauren Dawson, Members of the Société de Paléontologie du Québec, Clara Li, Rodrigo Lima, Keely Lefebvre, Eve Desplats, Kate Krivy, Stephanie Chiu, Amelia Gagnon, Peter Tarassoff.
